Wearable Space
Can space be worn? Can it create an experience of security, but also of rejection? Fashion and architecture share many similarities: they both deal with the question of how can we protect the human body- within this protection, we can choose how to mediate between the individual and the world.
By using a combination of 3D printing and laser cutting, we created a "spiky" helmet, in order to create a wearable space. The helmet was inspired by the 3D scan of cactus- a dangerous skin protecting soft flesh
